Begin your tour with a welcome drink at the farm. Relax in a shaded area as you learn about the community movement and the organic produce grown on the farm.
After enjoying your drink, take a walk along the community farm. Learn about organic farming and the unique UNESCO-protected Subak System in Bali. Pick the ingredients you’ll use during the cooking class for a true farm-to-table experience.
Arrive at the center of the community, Mai Organic Farm, and enjoy a refreshing juice made with vegetables and fruit from local farms. Then, prepare six Balinese dishes, such as tuna sate and corn fritters.
Participate as much or as little as you’d like in the cooking process. With small class sizes (max 10 people), enjoy personalized attention and a more involved cooking experience.
After cooking, learn about traditional offerings given to mother nature. Finally, savor your meal in a tranquil gubuk (hut) with new friends from the tour.
