Sample Spanish nightlife and Madrid's tasty tapas on an evening walking tour that will tantalize your taste buds! In a small group you'll visit Madrid's tucked-away corners and feast on tasty treats you would never discover on your own, leaving you with a lasting feeling for Madrid, its people, and its fabulous food and drink!

Our unique pay-as-you-go system allows us to tailor the tour according to the tastes of the group. The tour price includes your first drink and tapas at the first bar you'll visit. Then, advised by your expert foodie guide, you choose what you'd like to eat and drink at the other bars you visit. For a filling night out, you should expect to spend about 35-40€ per person. and you'll taste anything between 12 and 20 different dishes!!! A fun way to discover Madrid.

Opera (Sambil lalu)

Join us for a relaxed evening walking tour where you’ll stop at four classic Spanish bars and restaurants to sample authentic regional flavors. Depending on the day, you might enjoy chorizo cooked in cider, Galician-style octopus, Asturian cider, Andalusian sherry, or other local specialties. Along the route we will point out the main sights and give you fascinating enecdotes about the city and its history and culture. Your first drink and tapas at the first venue are included in the tour price (min 1 drink and 3 tastings). After that, the choice is yours — we will make personalised recommendations according to the tastes of the group, at the remaining stops. For a very full and satisfying night out, you should expect to spend €35–€40 per person.

Opera (Sambil lalu)

We will meet between the two metro entrances of Metro Opera in Plaza Isabel II, introduce you to fellow travelers and explain the plan for the evening. Having made introductions and seen the Royal Opera House we will start a night full of fun, food, drink and stories! We will visit our first bar and get the evening started explaining the origins of tapas and some of its ins and outs. PLEASE NOTE THIS ITINERARY IS AN EXAMPLE ONLY. OUR PAY-AS-YOU.GO SYSTEM ALLOWS US TO CHANGE THINGS AND ADAPT ACCORDING TO THE GROUP ON THE NIGHT, SO EVERY TOUR IS DIFFERENT.

We will walk through the Main Square of Madrid and tell you a bit about its history and traditions and make a few suggestions on what to see/eat/drink during the rest of your stay.

You will have built up an appetite by now so we will go to our second bar where we will advise you on what are the best things to eat and drink and explain how tapassing is done in Spain with useful information on how to order, tipping etc

We are now getting into the swing of tapassing, Madrid style, so only a short walk to the next bar where we will get you tasting more of their specialty dishes.

You may be beginning to feel a little full by now but avoid the bread and leave some room for the last bar where we will try to book a table and sit down to finish off in a more relaxed fashion, often with some great seafood. On the way we will point out some more not-to-miss spots and some historical buildings such as the Spanish parliament etc. Our tour will end in this last bar and you should be very full. Depending on the night and group, you will probably have tried anywhere between 12 and 20 different dishes and have got a real feel for the Madrid culinary scene.
