Itinerary
Day 1
At the indicated time we will pick you up at your hotel in Puerto Maldonado. We can also pick you up at the airport or at the bus station in the city. Then, we will travel for 45 minutes by boat to the lodge where we will stay, on the banks of the Madre de Dios River and very close to the Tambopata Natural Reserve.

Upon arrival, you will be able to settle into the cabins and we will begin to discover this fascinating natural environment acquired for science and nature lovers to enjoy a unique experience in the Peruvian Amazon. To begin, we will walk through the trails of the virgin tropical rainforest that surrounds the reserve.

Gigantic tree roots, more than 500 species of birds, 300 species of ants and more than 100 species of mammals are the inhabitants of the ByInkaterra Ecological Reserve. It will be a walk full of learning!

Afterwards, we will return to the lodge and enjoy a full meal. In the evening, we will approach the banks of the Madre de Dios River and take a boat ride in search of the wildlife that lives in the darkness. The guide will tell us all the curiosities of this nocturnal natural world.

We will end the day returning to the hotel for dinner.

Day 2
We will have breakfast at the hotel and head to the Inkaterra Canopy Walkway, a system of bridges designed specifically for scientific research. This way, we will see the rainforest from its highest point as we walk along the observation platforms. It will be an unforgettable experience!

Afterwards, we will return to the reserve for lunch. With our batteries recharged, we will board a boat to sail around Rio Island. On this ride we will admire the contrast of vegetation in a transitional forest. Sandbanks and wetlands where numerous species of birds live, such as the Amazonian umbrella.

We will return to Inkaterra Ecological Reserve in the late afternoon for dinner. Finally, after dark, we will take a night walk to discover the strange species that live in the forest.

Day 3
It's time to say goodbye! After breakfast, we will take you back to Puerto Maldonado.
