We're heading out for a levada hike in Madeira's south. Levada Nova/Moinhos is located in the warmest area of the island and offers truly breathtaking views. Lace up your boots, because our Levada Walk is about to start! The hike along the Levada Nova and Moinhos leads us through dense greenery, past small waterfalls and in parts over narrow paths that are high up - that's why we recommend this hike for people who are free from giddiness. But we promise: the fantastic view makes up for everything! And we have also provided for a small picnic with local snacks on the way. We wouldn't be Heartbeat Madeira if we didn't toast to our hike today: Poncha Time - cheers to us! If you like, also try one of the craft beers the place is known for. After all, it's your vacation!
