We will meet at the Place de la Comédie, from where we will begin a walking tour of the bohemian Croix-Rousse neighborhood. We will begin to talk about the great importance that this place had for the city of Lyon in the 18th century. A clue: it is known as the “working hill.”
Ascending slopes and stairs, little by little we will see a magnificent panoramic view of the center of Lyon. Of course, we will stop as many times as necessary to take thousands of photos of its beautiful corners.
Walking through the neighborhood we will enter some traboules, passageways that connect different streets through the patios of the buildings. We will visit Passage Thiaffait, where we will find craft workshops, art galleries and fashion stores. You will love it!
During the guided tour of the Croix-Rousse we will also see the ruins of the Roman amphitheater of the Three Gauls, which has more than 2,000 years of history. Of course, you won't miss a visit to the emblematic Mur des Canuts, an urban mural that decorates the façade of a building, creating a whole game of perspectives.
