One of the biggest and most popular sandy beaches in the Dubrovnik area is Sunj Beach on the island of Lopud, a short boat ride from Dubrovnik port. This sandy beach with shallow waters is ideal for families with small children, young people, or even sports fans. On the beach, there is a bar serving snacks and drinks and you can spend the whole day on the beach.

Lopud is one of the Croatian Islands belonging to the Elafiti archipelago, a group of islands just off the coast of Dubrovnik often called Dubrovnik’s islands. Located just over 7 nautical miles from Dubrovnik (about 14 kilometers), the island has just a couple hundred permanent inhabitants. A very beautiful historic place with a botanic garden. Šipan is the largest island in the Elaphite group and plays an important role in nautical routes. Here we will visit the place called Suđurađ.
