Experience Phillip Island with more comfort, fewer people and Melbourne CBD pickup and return. This shared tour is strictly limited to 11 guests. When we say small group, we mean it—not 24 or 27 passengers travelling together on a larger coach.
Travel in a modern Mercedes-Benz Vito or Sprinter. Comfortable seating, climate control, a clean, spacious cabin and easy boarding make a real difference on a long touring day. Fewer guests also means less time waiting and more opportunity to speak with your guide.
Our local guides are at the heart of the experience. Knowledgeable, welcoming and attentive, they combine local and wildlife knowledge with excellent organisation and practical Penguin Parade advice, keeping the day relaxed and enjoyable.
Provide your address when booking and we can collect you from any hotel, apartment or nominated location within Melbourne’s CBD. After the Penguin Parade, we will return you to the same location. If you are staying outside the CBD, we will arrange a convenient meeting point for pickup and return.
Your wildlife experience begins at Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park, with admission included. See koalas, kangaroos, wallabies and other Australian animals in a peaceful bushland setting. Kangaroo and wallaby food is available to purchase, although feeding cannot be guaranteed. A Koala Encounter can also be pre-booked at an additional cost, subject to availability and Moonlit Sanctuary’s conditions.
Meals are not included, giving you the freedom to choose what suits you. In winter, meal breaks are arranged at Moonlit Sanctuary and the Penguin Parade Visitor Centre. In summer, we stop in beautiful Cowes, Phillip Island’s seaside township, with plenty of cafés, restaurants and casual dining options.
Continue across Phillip Island while looking for wild wallabies, Cape Barren geese and other birdlife. At the Nobbies, follow the coastal boardwalks and enjoy sweeping views of the rugged coastline and Seal Rocks. Wildlife sightings vary naturally and cannot be guaranteed.
As evening arrives, experience the world-famous Penguin Parade and watch little penguins return from the ocean and make their way towards their burrows after sunset.
When booking, choose General Viewing or Penguins Plus, with the price adjusted accordingly. Penguins Plus requires confirmation after booking. It is usually available but is not guaranteed until we confirm it.
Other viewing tickets may be requested. Where available, we can arrange them for an additional charge. All requests must be confirmed before travel, so early booking is recommended.
This shared tour follows one carefully planned itinerary. By focusing on Moonlit Sanctuary, the Nobbies and the Penguin Parade, we provide a comfortable, well-paced day featuring Phillip Island’s most rewarding wildlife and coastal experiences.
Departure and return times vary with the season, sunset, Penguin Parade timing and traffic. Your pickup time will be confirmed before departure.
