We meet in the marina in the inner harbor, 5 minutes away from the city of Duisburg, and board the 18 meter long motor yacht Lexa. During the safety briefing, we would like to invite you to a Duisburg special shoot. Then we head out of the harbor and onto the Rhine. There we first go down the river to the Thyssen Krupp steelworks and the mouth of the Emscher. On the way there we also pass Ruhrort, the oldest district of Duisburg, and the Rhine meadows of Duisburg. From the steelworks we drive back to the largest inland port in the world and to the large Ruhr lock that connects the Rhine with Dortmund.
Of course, the two skippers will tell you a lot about Duisburg, the steelworks and the port. During the journey we will have a free bottle of Prosecco and a bottle of Duisburg mineral water in our fridge. Additional drinks are available chilled for you. After a good 4 hours we come back to the Duisburg marina from where you can easily go on to the trendy “Inner Harbor” district to enjoy something more to eat or a few cocktails. Here too, the crew will be happy to give you further tips.
