The magnificent Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari is one of the most awe-inspiring funerary monuments of the ancient world, rivaling the grandeur of the Pyramids. Sandstone carvings of the Nile god Hapy further reveal the artistic craftsmanship of the era. Though much of the Colossi has been eroded by time and weather, the site still evokes a sense of the awe it once inspired.
