Arrival 845am at our International Waldorf Forest “base camp” with a brief introduction to the local ecosystem and archaeology (aqueduct that was part of the 18th c. water purification system, veins or Carrera marble)
9am we will start with a walk though our property on a paved road (20 minutes) immersing yourself the fresh Tuscan air as we look and learn about native plants and the CO2 reducing powers of the earth and nature
10am Hands on cooking lesson starting with harvesting ingredients and making delicious refreshing delicacies (Amalfi lemon mint drink), Mango Lassi (India) and Sweet/Savory (Baking)
11am- Puppet show and circle time
12pm Snack and learn about composting, visiting with our flock of hens and harvesting eggs
1230pm-1pm Nature play and hands on nature crafts with a discussion on how to bring Waldorf Education (wg no screens) into your home life
1pm Closing circle and song in 3 languages
For ages 3-8 or with Parent on Friday mornings.
