The guided musical tour of Lucca is an experience of discovery in one of Tuscany's most beautiful and culturally rich cities, a renowned stop on the Via Francigena, a hub for merchants of fine fabrics, and the birthplace of Giacomo Puccini. The tour will be divided into several stages, during which we will discuss the history of Lucca, from the Middle Ages to the present day, and we will visit the churches of San Michele in Foro (exterior), Via Fillungo, the Cathedral of San Martino (exterior and interior), and the Basilica of San Frediano (exterior). We will also pass by Giacomo Puccini's birthplace, admire Piazza Napoleone, and conclude with a visit to Caffè Santa Zita. The explanation and presentation of the city will conclude with a musical performance that will, quite literally, make the visual art resonate with the art of sound and harmony.
