What you can expect

This walking tour is an investigative examination of the Jack the Ripper murders. It is grounded in primary sources, criminological theory and forensic analysis. It will also give you a window into the lived realities of the Ripper’s victims — not least their marginalisation, poverty, and vulnerability. Your guide is a criminologist who has worked with some of the most serious offenders in the United Kingdom. He is also a historian, specialising in the Victorian period. Due to its subject matter and forensic focus, the tour is not recommended for those aged 15 or under.
