Your adventure begins at our base in Vågaveien 37, where you’ll meet your experienced local guide and receive a full kayaking introduction and safety briefing. No previous kayaking experience is required, making this tour beginner-friendly and suitable for anyone with a normal level of fitness.

We launch from the coastline near Vik Beach and paddle through crystal-clear Arctic waters surrounded by towering mountain peaks. Along the way, you’ll kayak past white sand beaches and rugged coastline before arriving at the famous Haukland Beach, widely considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Norway and the Lofoten Islands.

After landing at Haukland, we begin the scenic hike to the summit of Mannen. As the trail climbs above the coastline, spectacular panoramic views open across Vestvågøy, the Norwegian Sea, and Lofoten’s dramatic mountain landscape. We hike at a comfortable pace with time for photos, short breaks, and stories from your guide about local nature, wildlife, and life in the Arctic.

After the hike, we return to the kayaks and paddle back along the stunning coastline to our base, enjoying a different perspective of the beaches and mountains from the water.
