What may be included in the studio activity:
All required materials: canvases, brushes, paints, palettes, spatulas, aprons, and other art supplies.
Exploration of colors and textures: experimenting with color blends, different brushstrokes, and the use of various materials.
Creative challenges: activities that encourage imagination and solving artistic problems.
Creation of a final work: each child can complete a signed piece of art, which they take with them.
Customized group activities: sessions specially designed for groups according to their needs and interests.
A welcoming and educational environment: a space designed to encourage children's free expression and well-being.
You can purchase bottles of regional wine on site for consumption during the session.
Food is not included. We recommend that children bring their own snack if necessary.

This art class is a time to explore and be in contact with various materials and let your creativity flow. There is no need for prior knowledge of painting, and it is suitable for beginners or more experienced artists.

The class is held in an Art Gallery where Cristina's studio is also located. Here, you can also come into contact with the work of other artists that is on exhibition in the gallery.

What will we do?

In the first hour, the essential basics that the guest needs to know to build a strong aesthetic look will be explained: color theory, value, composition, and layers. We'll do some exercises to relax and prepare for the final work.

Next, we will work on Fabriano paper or a 30x40cm stretched canvas. I'll show you how to mix paints and choose a color palette. We will paint with brushes and colored pencils and use materials that allow us to try out different textures.

All stages of the painting's production are supervised by me, Cristina.

At the end of the class, the guest will take home their finished and signed canvas as a souvenir of this experience, along with the certificate of authenticity for their work issued by the Gallery.

Why is this activity special?

The fact that we make this experience possible in an environment that is both an art gallery and an artist's studio allows those who are most curious about this subject to understand the dynamics of the studio and the presentation of final works for sale in a gallery. Cristina is an architect, and although her artistic work covers various themes, drawings and paintings of Lisbon are one of her main areas of focus, and she even has works on display in other galleries.

This is an event that can be arranged for individuals or for a group of people and that can be customized for you. For example, a celebration of a special day, or simply a moment of socializing among friends. If you are a wine lover, you can purchase bottles of regional wine on site and enjoy a glass of Portuguese wine during the class.

At the end of the class, you will take your artwork with you.
