• Korouoma Canyon is famous in summer and autumn for its dramatic long gorge, towering cliffs, and multiple waterfalls surrounded by lush forests. In autumn, the canyon becomes especially stunning with vibrant foliage, making it a top destination for scenic hiking and photography.

• Auttiköngäs is known for its historical old log transportation site, powerful rapids, picturesque wooden bridges, and easy-access forest trails. It’s a peaceful nature spot where visitors can enjoy the sound of rushing water, short hikes, and beautiful river views, especially colorful in autumn.

• During the drive & hike we may witness some Arctic animals & birds. The guide will do the storytelling about the local Flora & Fauna.

NOTE: At Auttiköngäs, we visit and explore the iconic historic log-driving site; the full Auttiköngäs loop trail is not included. At Korouoma Canyon, the activity includes our standard approximately 5 km loop hike through the main waterfall area and scenic viewpoints.
