Day 1. On the first day, depart to Nubra Valley. Pass over Khardung La, the highest motorable road in the world, at 5,602 meters. From the pass, see all the way south over the Indus Valley to seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the giants of the Saser massif.
Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers. It is situated in the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. The average altitude of the valley is 10,000 feet above sea level. Upon arrival in Nubra Valley, visit the Diskit Monastery and the Sand Dune at Hunder. Spend the night in Nubra Valley.
Day 2. On the second day, after breakfast, visit the Sand Dune at Hunder and the Diskit Monastery at Diskit. Drive directly to Pangong Lake via the Shayok Valley. Arrive at Pangong Lake in the evening. Later, enjoy free time at leisure and marvel at the color-changing lake and the sunset on the banks of the lake. Spend the night at Pangong Lake.
Day 3. On the third day, enjoy the morning at leisure to explore the beauty of the lake. Later, drive back to Leh via the Changla Pass. Spend the night in Leh.
