As you know, the Japanese love to prepare bentos for their loved ones, and they're very imaginative when it comes to decorating! In fact, moms don't hesitate to create little characters and animals in bentos, to please the children's eyes.

In this experience, you will do then same and learn how to create a famous cute character, using the basic ingredients often used in bentos. You'll see that it's easier than you think, and that all it takes is a little attention to recreate famous cartoon characters!

You will be able to learn various tips and techniques for making kawaii Japanese dishes. The lesson is designed to be fun, bringing out your inner child! The finished deco plate will surely be a hit on social networking sites. In a private space, you can create unforgettable memories!

This activity is perfect for families, couples or friends. The lesson is conducted by a full-time instructor (Kaoru-San) who has appeared in many media and lasts for 120 minutes.

Schedule:

1. Meet directly at the Cooking Studio in Shinjuku, 3-minute walk from Shinjuku Station.
2. Once at the studio, the guide will briefly explain the schedule of the lesson, the process and the food needed to make the bento.
3. You can choose your apron and the character that you want to cook.
4. Now you're ready! Wash your hands and start cooking your bento, accompanied by side dishes that kids will love (tamagoyaki, several cute side dishes etc.).
5. Once the bento is finished, we'll take photos of your creation. And now it's time for the tasting!
6. The bento will be accompanied by a set of souvenirs.
