The highlight: as you reach higher ground, the lagoon suddenly opens beneath you, revealing the iconic panorama of Le Morne.

Along the way, you’ll hear the story of the maroons: escaped enslaved people who once found refuge here, and understand why this mountain remains a powerful symbol of freedom.
