This tour offers a unique opportunity to explore the stunning landscapes of Madeira’s north and east coasts. The hike begins in Porto da Cruz, following the spectacular Vereda do Larano to Boca do Risco, a natural viewpoint with breathtaking views of the cliffs and the Atlantic Ocean.

After a brief stop at Boca do Risco to take in the scenery, the route continues along a trail towards Caniçal, passing through sections of the old footpath that once connected the two areas. The trail eventually meets the Levada do Caniçal, a gentler path surrounded by lush vegetation and with views over the ocean. The hike ends in the village of Caniçal, where you’ll have the chance to relax and enjoy traditional Madeiran snacks at a local restaurant, at your own choice.
