D1:
Gather at Lanzhou Zhongchuan Airport and proceed to downtown Lanzhou — Beef noodle making experience — English-guided tour along the Yellow River scenic line (with Sanpaotai afternoon tea) — Ruan's gourd carving intangible cultural heritage experience — Free time.

D2:
Your journey begins in Lanzhou, where you'll board a high-speed train to Zhangye. Gaze upon the snow-capped peaks of the Qilian Mountains stretching across the horizon. Upon arrival, your driver will escort you to the Colorful Danxia Scenic Area—a natural wonder renowned as one of Zhangye's, and indeed China's, most breathtaking landscapes.

D3:
At Ping Shan Hu Grand Canyon, you’ll descend into the depths of the gorge and hike through the “earth fissures” and canyon formations sculpted hundreds of millions of years ago. Afterwards, you’ll be driven to the Jiayuguan region, famed as the “First Pass Under Heaven.”

D4:
Explore the “First Strategic Pass Under Heaven.” As the western starting point of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall, Jiayuguan stands as a monumental symbol of ancient frontier defense. Later, experience the iconic landscapes of Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Lake in Dunhuang—where you can climb the singing dunes and witness the oasis miracle of desert and spring coexisting in harmony.

D5:
As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Mogao Caves are acclaimed as the “Treasure House of Eastern Art.” The Class A ticket is a full-price pass, which includes two digital film viewings and a guided tour of eight caves led by an official scenic area interpreter.

The period from June to August is the peak tourist season each year, during which ticket demand is extremely high. Recommended to book at least one month.
