  • We offer an informative hike of approximately 8 km, during which you will discover the amazing world of volcanoes. Walk across lava flows and ascend volcanic cones to see spectacular craters, lava tunnels, lava lakes, and more.

    Los Volcanes Natural Park is a protected area that represents Lanzarote's recent and historic volcanism. It is covered by material from the eruptions that took place between 1730 and 1736 and in 1824.

    The volcanic structures are well preserved. Due to Lanzarote's arid climate, vegetation develops very slowly, so the landscape resembles a huge open-air museum of volcanology. You will also learn about the slow but constant rebirth of life on the lava.

    This hike will help you understand what our planet was like millions of years ago, how its inner forces work, and let you marvel at an otherworldly landscape.
