Embark on a birdwatching and nature walk Guided Tour in lake Baringo. A sunrise boat ride lets us explore more wading birds. You can also walk along the shores of the lake. You will see plenty of wildlife, such as crocodiles, hippos, and birds. See members of the egret family, such as great egrets, intermediate egrets, little egrets, and cattle egrets. You will see herons, including Goliath, squacco, striated, grey-headed, and night herons, as well as fish eagles, bee-eaters such as northern carmine and blue-cheeked bee-eaters, kingfishers, geese, and other wading birds.
On the afternoon-to-evening nature walk, we will walk to the trachyte cliffs. We will see many terrestrial birds such as rattling cisticolas, cliff chats, goshawks, starlings, and even nocturnal birds such as pearl-spotted owlets, white-faced owls, and nightjars.
At the cliffs, you will see a panoramic view of Lake Baringo, as well as vervet monkeys and rock hyraxes.
We always end the activity with a scorpion show. You will see both black and brown scorpions.
