We start at the GKMTB Bike Base in the 14th district with the adjustment of the e-mountain bikes. From here, we will cross the Wien River to Hietzing, where a first steep climb along the outer wall of the Lainzer Tiergarten awaits us. As soon as we reach the top, we head back down again, on a narrow path over roots and rocks. It's good if the participants already have MTB experience here. Less experienced riders take the easier detour. After that, we continue along the wall over varied terrain to the Lainzer Tor. There, we will park our bikes and walk for about 10 minutes to the Hermesvilla, where not only a great photo opportunity awaits us, but also a place to stop for coffee and cake. Once refreshed, we head back to the bikes and continue on our route, where the Planetenweg awaits us next. We then circle the entire Lainzer Tiergarten until we arrive back at the Wien River. Difficult sections can also be bypassed on the rest of the route. At the end, we head back to the Nikolaitor and cross the Wien River back to the Bike Base.
