End your day with a peaceful evening e-bike tour to Fushimi Inari Taisha, one of Kyoto’s most iconic and spiritual landmarks, famous for its thousands of vermilion torii gates. You will also visit Tofukuji Temple, one of Kyoto’s Five Great Zen Temples, renowned for its ancient Zen architecture, tranquil atmosphere, and beautiful gardens.
Enjoy these historic sites in a much quieter and more comfortable setting after the daytime crowds and summer heat have passed.
Meet your guide in front of Exit No. 4 of Kujo Station (just 650 m away, or a 9-minute walk from Kyoto Station) and begin your journey on a comfortable electric bike (e-bike).
Stroll through Kyoto’s historic streets along the Takase River and Kamo River. First, explore the cozy willow-lined paths of the historic Takase Canal, then enjoy the scenic and refreshing atmosphere of the wide Kamo River.
After cycling through the area, we visit Tofukuji Temple, one of Kyoto’s Five Great Zen Temples, renowned for its ancient Zen architecture and peaceful atmosphere. Next, we head to the world-famous Fushimi Inari Shrine alongside a knowledgeable and friendly English-speaking guide. Famous for its thousands of vermilion torii gates, Fushimi Inari is one of Japan’s most iconic destinations. Enjoy a peaceful evening walk through some of its most picturesque pathways while avoiding the daytime crowds and capturing memorable photos.
Before cycling back to the original meeting point, we will cycle path along Kamo River at night from Tofukuji Station to Shichijo Station (approximately 3 km / 1.9 miles), and also your guide can also introduce nearby AEON Mall and souvenir shopping areas if time permits. After the tour, you may enjoy dinner around Kyoto AEON Mall at your own pace; your guide will recommend options.
The tour lasts approximately 3 to 3.5 hours and ends at the original meeting point.

About the Operator:
This tour is operated by Jawad, who has been living in Japan since 2011 and has guided over 200 tours for international guests. With a background in Computer Science, he has worked for over 10 years as a researcher in Japan and has lived in several cities, including Tokyo, Nagoya, and Kyoto. He has also spent time in the USA and Canada as a research visitor.
Combining local expertise with international experience, he aims to create tours that connect culture, people, and real experiences.
Important Information:
• Please arrive at the meeting point at least 5 minutes before the tour starts.
• The tour will proceed even in light rain; ponchos will be provided if needed.
• Participants must be comfortable riding an e-bike.
• The minimum age requirement is 8 years old.
• This tour will not hike the entire Fushimi-Inari mountain.
