Overview

Our journey begins at the symbol of Nara tourism, Nara Park, famous for the unique scenery of “deer and cherry blossoms in harmony”. Soak in the spring vibes amidst the serene atmosphere of Kasuga Taisha, Todai-ji Temple and Mount Wakakusa located right next to the park.

Next, we visit Matabee Sakura (Hongo no Takizakura), with overwhelming sight of this 300-year-old giant weeping cherry tree cascading over a stone wall like a waterfall.

The next stop, Tsubosaka-dera, has unique scenery of cherry blossoms surround the temple grounds, framing the giant Buddha statue and creating striking photo opportunities throughout the site.

The journey concludes at Takada Senbonzakura, where around 1,000 cherry trees form an endless riverside tunnel. Walking beneath falling petals offers a romantic and unforgettable finale to the day.

Wide open lawns, seasonal cherry blossoms, and freely roaming deer create a unique spring landscape found only in Nara.
