From the South Exit of JR Saga-Arashiyama Station, go down the stairs and walk straight for about 2 minutes until you reach Kyoto Bank. Our shop is located diagonally across from Kyoto Bank. The location is easy to find and conveniently situated in the Arashiyama area. Major attractions such as the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, Togetsukyo Bridge, Tenryu-ji Temple, Kimono Forest, and Iwatayama Monkey Park are all within walking distance. Please arrive at your reserved time. Our multilingual staff (English, Japanese, and Chinese) will assist you upon arrival.

What you can expect

Enjoy a private kimono photoshoot experience in Kyoto’s Arashiyama, one of Japan’s most scenic and iconic destinations. Perfect for solo travelers, couples, friends, and families looking to create unforgettable memories in Kyoto.

After arriving at our conveniently located shop in Arashiyama, you will begin your experience with professional kimono dressing and styling. Choose from a wide selection of kimono and yukata styles, ranging from classic Kyoto designs to elegant modern patterns. Women’s hairstyling with accessories is included for a complete traditional look. Optional upgrades such as premium furisode and samurai hakama may also be available depending on stock and availability on the day.

Once ready, enjoy a private outdoor photoshoot with a professional photographer around the famous Arashiyama Bamboo Grove and nearby scenic streets. The photographer will help guide natural poses and capture relaxed, timeless moments surrounded by Kyoto’s beautiful traditional atmosphere.

After the photoshoot, you are free to continue exploring Arashiyama at your own pace while wearing kimono. Popular attractions such as the Bamboo Grove, Togetsukyo Bridge, Tenryu-ji Temple, Kimono Forest, the Arashiyama Monkey Park, riverside cafés, traditional Kyoto streets, and the scenic Katsura River area are all within easy walking distance from our shop.
