What you can expect

Begin your experience on a peaceful outdoor terrace with tea and a relaxed introduction to traditional Chinese wellness culture. Learn about the basic ideas behind Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Daoist-inspired body understanding, meridians and body energy flow, wellness culture in contemporary China, and why younger generations are reconnecting with traditional practices today.

Next, experience a traditional pulse diagnosis and personalized acupuncture session. Be guided by an experienced practitioner with over 20 years of hands-on clinical practice in traditional Chinese medicine and Daoist lineage acupuncture traditions.

Unlike spa-style acupuncture focused purely on relaxation, this traditional approach emphasizes body awareness and meridian-based stimulation. During the session, you may naturally notice sensations such as warmth, tingling, heaviness, soreness, pressure, or subtle movement within the body. In traditional Chinese medicine, these sensations are often understood as part of the body’s energetic response during meridian stimulation.

Throughout the experience, you are welcome to ask questions and receive guided cultural explanations in English. You can also choose to add on cupping therapy, Gua Sha, or Moxibustion for an additional charge.

After the session, return to the outdoor terrace for a quiet closing conversation. Share how you feel physically and emotionally, reflect on the sensations and experience, and ask questions about Chinese wellness culture and traditional practices.
