What you can expect

  • I'll take you to discover the old fishing village of Kukkolaforsen, a place full of history and traditions in the heart of the Tornio Valley, on the border between Sweden and Finland. Together, we will explore the typical wooden buildings overlooking the Torne River, where net fishing is still practiced today, a tradition that is part of UNESCO's cultural heritage. We'll visit the small but fascinating fish museum, where I'll tell you about the local culture, the tools used and the daily life of fishermen in the past. An authentic, guided and immersive experience combining nature, history and Lapland tradition.

The visit will take place in the village of Kukkolaforsen (Sweden).
