What you can expect

  • Begin your tour with a visit to the Batu Caves, a series of limestone caves and cave temples. Spend 45 minutes exploring the caves and admiring the giant golden statue of Lord Murugan, the Hindu god of war, at the entrance.

Next, head to the Selayang Hot Springs and enjoy a 20-minute stop to relax and soak your feet in the warm, mineral-rich waters. Continue to the East Coast Batik Sdn Bhd (Batik CHONG) to learn about the traditional art of batik making and see artisans at work.

Visit the Royal Selangor Visitor Centre, where you can learn about the history and craftsmanship of pewter making. Spend 30 minutes exploring the exhibits and watching live demonstrations.

Drive past the Istana Negara, the official residence of the King of Malaysia, and stop at the National Monument, a tribute to Malaysia's fallen heroes. Pass by the Taman Botani Perdana, a lush botanical garden, and visit the National Mosque (Masjid Negara) for a 15-minute stop to admire its modern architecture.

Continue to the Kuala Lumpur Railway Station, a beautiful colonial-era building, and then visit the Thean Hou Temple, a stunning Chinese temple dedicated to the goddess of the sea. Spend 25 minutes exploring the temple and its gardens.

Stop at Dataran Merdeka, the historic square where Malaysia declared its independence, and visit the Kuala Lumpur City Gallery to learn about the city's history and development. Finally, end your tour with a visit to the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, where you can admire the impressive architecture and take photos.
