Our adventure begins in the Old Town (Stare Miasto), the heart of the city. We will glide through the Planty Gardens, admire the medieval Barbican, and cross the Main Market Square, one of the largest and most beautiful in Europe. You'll see the Royal Wawel Castle in all its glory and learn why this city was the seat of Polish kings for centuries.

Next, we head to Kazimierz, the historic Jewish Quarter. This district is a maze of cobblestone streets, hidden courtyards, and centuries-old synagogues. It’s a place where history meets modern bohemian life. We’ll discuss the rich cultural heritage of the Jewish community that thrived here for over 500 years.

Finally, we cross the Vistula River to enter Podgórze, the site of the former WWII Jewish Ghetto. This part of the tour is dedicated to reflection and remembrance. We will visit:

The Eagle Pharmacy (Apteka pod Orłem): A symbol of courage and a vital lifeline for those imprisoned in the ghetto.

The Ghetto Heroes Square: Featuring the moving empty chairs monument.

The Execution Wall: A poignant site of memory where we pay respects to those who suffered during the occupation.
