Perkara yang anda boleh jangka

We begin in Kotor, climbing the historic royal road from the time of the Kingdom of Montenegro — a road that truly calls for adventure. Known as the famous “serpentine road,” it winds through 25 dramatic switchbacks, each revealing more breathtaking views of the shimmering Bay of Kotor below.

Hidden within this road is a romantic legend. On the stretch between Kotor and Trojica, the curves form the letter “M.” According to the story, the young engineer Josip Slade-Šilović, who designed the road after the Berlin Congress of 1878, secretly shaped it as a tribute to his love for Princess Milena. Locals still smile at the old joke: had he fallen in love with Princess Olga, the road might never have ended.

Our journey continues to the traditional village of Njeguši, nestled between Kotor and Lovćen National Park. Here, authentic Montenegrin culture comes to life. You will have the opportunity to taste and purchase local specialties such as prosciutto, cheese, and wine. Njeguši was once the heart of Montenegrin leadership, home to powerful clans whose bishops and leaders shaped the country’s destiny.

After Njeguši, we visit the majestic Mausoleum of Petar II Petrović-Njegoš. Climbing 441 steps, we reach a striking six-sided chapel that houses a monumental 4-meter granite statue created by world-famous sculptor Ivan Meštrović. Carved from a single 50-ton block of granite, this masterpiece stands beneath a golden mosaic ceiling composed of 200,000 gold pieces.

As we exit on the opposite side, a breathtaking “bird’s-eye” view unfolds before us — nearly 70% of Montenegro’s dramatic mountains and rocky landscapes stretch into the distance.

We then continue toward the Kotor Cable Car, where history gives way to untouched nature and fresh mountain air. At the top, you can relax with coffee overlooking the bay or simply absorb the atmosphere.

And we save the sweetest moment for last. In just 11 unforgettable minutes, the cable car descends from 1,350 meters to 65 meters above sea level, offering spectacular views of Kotor Bay and the towns of Kotor, Tivat, Perast, and Herceg Novi — a grand finale to an extraordinary journey.
