Begin with a pickup from your hotel lobby, followed by a scenic 2-hour drive to the Klias Forest Reserve. This picturesque route takes you along coastal roads and through charming local villages, offering glimpses of Sabah’s rural beauty.

Upon arrival at the Klias River jetty around 4:00 PM, be welcomed with a refreshing cup of coffee or tea, accompanied by traditional Malay cakes and cookies.

As the sun begins to set—when wildlife is most active—embark on a peaceful river cruise in search of Borneo’s unique creatures. Keep an eye out for the iconic proboscis monkeys, exotic birds, monitor lizards, and crocodiles. Please note: wildlife sightings are not guaranteed as animals roam freely in their natural habitat.

By 6:30 PM, return to the jetty for a traditional Malay buffet dinner. As night falls, set off on a short second cruise to witness the enchanting glow of fireflies dancing along the riverbanks. Cap off the experience with a bit of stargazing from the boat, adding a touch of magic to your evening.

At approximately 7:30 PM, enjoy a comfortable return transfer back to Kota Kinabalu.
