With your ticket, you explore a landmark that has grown into an important religious, pastoral, scientific, cultural, and economic center just outside Vienna.
Your visit begins in the fascinating Treasure Chamber, filled with precious artworks and historical objects that reflect the spiritual and cultural life of the Canons. From May to November, you can also visit the annual exhibition, and on weekends and public holidays the Abbey Museum is open for you to explore even more of this rich heritage.
Continue your visit through the impressive Marble Hall, once used by members of the Habsburg family. From the Abbey’s windows, enjoy wonderful views of the Danube River and across to Vienna, giving you a real sense of the Abbey’s historic and scenic location.
Throughout the day, you can join several guided tours. They are held in German, but with the audio guide available in 14 languages, you won’t miss anything—your visit will be easy to follow and fully enjoyable.
