Khao Sok the largest rainforest in Asia
Khao Sok National Park is a nature reserve in southern Thailand characterized by large areas of pristine jungle, limestone karst formations similar to towers and the Cheow Lan artificial lake. It hosts rare species such as the giant parasitic flower Rafflesia, bucerotidae, gibbons and tigers. The park can be explored through elephant safaris, hiking trails or rafting, canoeing or kayaking along the Sok River.

I day. Transfer to Khao Sok Park (from Phuket or Surathani) with visit to the elephant camp and lunch with Thai cuisine that is not too spicy. Interview with mahouts (elephant breeders). Trekking in the jungle on the elephant. Subsequently, it feeds the elephants, washes them and then feeds them again on dietary fiber which favors digestion. Finally possibility to sow the plants that next year will feed the elephants again. After the canoe tour, return to the hotel at the Khao Sok Tree House Resort for dinner and to experience the experience of sleeping in a tree house.

Lunch on the lake. Afternoon canoe trek along the canals of the lake that cross the park gently descending. The canoe crossing continues on the river Sok (stable and safe canoe) crossing the limestone mountains and the cliffs covered with tropical vegetation (several animal species can often be seen passing on dry land): from the canoe you can admire a world belonging to thousands years ago. Return to the resort with raft houses on the lake and dinner.
