From Stepantsminda, travelers have the optional opportunity to reach Gergeti Trinity Church by 4WD jeep. This service is operated by local drivers and requires an additional payment 20 Lari per person directly to the jeep driver. The guide will assist with organizing the trip for those who wish to go, while guests who prefer can remain in town and enjoy free time. Whether exploring further into the mountains or relaxing in the village, this stop offers flexibility and unforgettable Caucasus views.

At Gergeti Trinity Church, travelers will visit one of Georgia’s most iconic mountain landmarks, dramatically located at 2,170 meters above sea level beneath the majestic Mount Kazbek. The 14th-century church stands against a breathtaking backdrop of the Greater Caucasus, offering some of the most spectacular views in the country. Reaching the church requires an off-road drive by local 4WD jeep from Stepantsminda. This transfer is optional and costs 20 GEL per person (cash, paid directly to the jeep driver).
