Set on 1 hectare of land, it is the largest adventure center in Albania, offering more than 10 outdoor experiences including rafting, packrafting, e-bike tours, canyon exploration, hiking, kayaking, river tubing, snowshoeing, off-road tours, and cooking classes. The center also features glamping accommodation with 20 safari tents and an open-air restaurant serving fresh local products, making it an ideal destination for adventure, relaxation, and authentic Albanian experiences.

- Gathering at restaurant Sajmola, at 17.30 you will park the cars there and our shuttle will pick you up and take you to the departure point of Kelcyra gorge. Our professional kayak team members will be waiting for you to start one of the most unforgettable adventures in Albania.
- Preparing for the adventure, wearing neoprene suits, thermal sweatshirts, life jackets and helmets it’s a must. Getting instructions from Albania Rafting Group experienced guide team members which is the first Sport team to bring rafting to Albania for the very first time and still going strong.
- The whole trip will give you a very special feeling and the adrenaline will be covering your body going through Vjosa rapids, the beautiful canyons of Kelcyra, the waterfalls and the “Blue Eye” experience.
- Kayaking ends where the cars are parked at restaurant Sajmola which offers delicious lunch specials with local food cuisine

Rafting in Vjosa River – 2 Departures every day from Permet and from Berat

With decades of experience and international representation at the World Rafting Championships, we offer safe, authentic, and unforgettable adventures on Europe’s last wild river – the Vjosa.
Flowing freely for 270 km from the Pindus Mountains to the Adriatic Sea, the Vjosa River is a natural wonder untouched by dams. Its pristine waters carve through dramatic canyons, wide riverbeds, islands, and peaceful stretches, creating a spectacular setting for rafting. This Class III rafting experience delivers the perfect balance of adrenaline, nature, and discovery, suitable for beginners, families, and adventure lovers alike.
Program 1: Rafting in Vjosa – Departure from Përmet
Meet your guides at the Albania Rafting Group base in Përmet city at 09:30 or 14:30, just 2.5 km from the town center. Free parking and a warm welcome await you. After check-in, our certified guides will equip you with professional rafting gear, including neoprene suits, helmets, life jackets, and thermal layers.
A comfortable 30-minute minibus transfer brings you to the rafting start point. Before entering the river, your guides provide a detailed safety briefing and paddling instructions, ensuring everyone feels confident and prepared. The rafting experience lasts around two hours and includes playful rapids, calm floating sections, refreshing swimming stops, and optional rock jumps, all surrounded by stunning wilderness.
After finishing the descent, our minibus returns you to the adventure base. Change into dry clothes, enjoy hot showers, and relax while reliving the highlights of your journey.
Optional extras include a fresh local lunch served in our open-air restaurant under safari tents, or an overnight stay in our luxury glamping safari tents for a complete nature escape.
Program 2: Vjosa River Rafting – Day Trip from Berat
Meet your guide at 08:45 at Castle Park Hotel Berat (free parking available) or at the Hanging Bridge in Gorricë quartier. Travel comfortably by minibus along the newly improved scenic road connecting Berat and Përmet (approx. 1.5 hours). Along the way, enjoy panoramic mountain views and pass through traditional villages such as Tërpan, Buz, Ballaban, with a short stop in Gllava.
Upon arrival at our adventure base, gear up with full professional equipment. A short 15-minute transfer brings you to the river, where your rafting adventure begins. Paddle through crystal-clear waters, navigate fun rapids, and admire the untouched landscapes of Vjosa National Park while our guides share stories about the river’s nature, history, and local culture.
After rafting, relax under our safari tents and enjoy a traditional lunch made with fresh regional products before returning to Berat in the afternoon.
