On Tuesday evenings in the summer, our 2 hour evening sunset tour is followed by the Shelter Cove fireworks show! Appropriate for all experience levels and kids are of course welcome as well as we have single and double kayaks. Just like all of our tours we kayak through the beautiful salt marsh of Broad Creek, home to some of Hilton Head's friendliest bottlenose dolphins as well summer visiting manatee or an occasional surprise otter or sea turtle and many species of birds including bald eagle, osprey, egrets, herons, woodstock, roseate spoonbills and many others! At the end of our tour, just as the sun is about to set, for your safety we come back to the dock, often pull up a crab trap or catch a few shrimp for the kids and then enjoy the fireworks of Shelter Cove as they shoot off over the water just down from Broad Creek Marina. Bring drinks and snacks or pop into the pub before the fireworks shoot off to grab refreshments. It’s a great way to spend Tuesday night with your family!
