We will explore the Porto Cesareo Marine Protected Area aboard our handy and safe Kayaks and Canoes. Always accompanied and guided by an Environmental Hiking Guide, an instructor and a Marine Biologist, we will let you experience a unique adventure to discover this wonderful natural environment. We will snorkel to discover the submerged treasures of the Marine Protected Area, we will learn about marine biodiversity, fish, octopuses, starfish and beautiful and harmless multicolored jellyfish. We will transform ourselves into underwater archaeologists and observe the famous submerged Roman columns, lying a few meters deep. We will be able to spot sea turtles and if lucky the large and harmless basking shark. Get ready for a unique adventure of its kind, which can also be enjoyed with the whole family. Activity itinerary

With this splendid marine excursion in Kayak and Canoe we will explore Porto Cesareo and the Marine Protected Area. Always accompanied by an Environmental Excursion Guide and Marine Biologists, we will paddle aboard kayaks and canoes to explore Porto Cesareo and the Marine Protected Area, its unique marine ecosystems rich in biodiversity. Our excursion will start from the small beach near the Circolo Nautico l'Approdo, we will take a short introductory course in Kayaking and Canoeing to teach you how to use these splendid nautical means. After becoming familiar with the means we will paddle in a southerly direction, we will dive to do Archaeological Snorkeling and admire the famous submerged Roman columns lying on the sandy bottom at a depth of only 4 m
