The tour begins from “CitySpot by Xplora”, for a briefing, useful information, and a nice cup of coffee. We dive next into Old City to admire Imaret, and the stunning view of the Aegean from Mohammed Ali’s Square. And speaking of the Aegean, the City’s Shipyard is a place where you can witness the city's maritime history and see how ships were built and repaired in the past. It's a fascinating glimpse into the city's industrial past. We then pass by the Tsimino Aaron Warehouse. This old tobacco warehouse is a testament to Kavala's role in the tobacco industry, and it's a striking example of the city's industrial architecture. Another historical gem in Kavala is the Kamares - Aqueduct. This impressive structure dates back to the 16th century and is a reminder of the city's rich Ottoman history.
