Day 1: Pickup, Lukaya Delicacies & Equator Experience
Your adventure begins with a morning pickup from Kampala or Entebbe. As we drive southwest toward Queen Elizabeth National Park, you’ll enjoy two authentic Ugandan highlights:
• Lukaya Stopover – Taste Uganda’s famous roadside roast chicken, goat meat, and sweet roasted plantains (gonja), a true road-trip tradition.
• Equator Crossing – Capture iconic photos and stand in both hemispheres at once before continuing your scenic journey.
Arrive at your lodge in Queen Elizabeth NP, settle in, and enjoy the evening surrounded by the natural sounds of the wild.
Day 2: Sunrise Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Safari
We start early for the best wildlife sightings. As the sun rises over the savannah, keep your eyes out for elephants, buffalos, hippos, lions, hyenas, antelopes, and more. Queen Elizabeth is one of Uganda’s richest ecosystems, and dawn is the perfect time to see predators and grazers on the move.
After lunch, we head for a relaxing boat safari on the Kazinga Channel, famous for its dense concentrations of hippos, bathing elephants, buffalos at the shoreline, and vibrant birdlife. The views here are unmatched.
Day 3: A Slow Morning & Journey Back
Wake up naturally to the sounds of the park coming to life, birds calling, hippos grunting in the distance, and the soft light of a new day over the plains. Enjoy a laid-back breakfast, soak in the atmosphere, and later begin your drive back to Kampala or Entebbe with unforgettable memories of Uganda’s wilderness.
