What you can expect

  • Begin your journey with a departure from Kanazawa Station. Head to a samurai house, a hidden gem with few tourists, where you can quietly and leisurely enjoy the wonderful architecture and garden.

    Next, explore a 400-year-old historic temple with a Buddhist monk as your guide.
    You’ll have the rare opportunity to see an area that was once used only by feudal lords — a place that’s usually not open to the public. Experience mysterious and powerful pray, calligraphy, and receive a souvenir.

    On the way back to Kanazawa, enjoy the scenic ride along Chirihama Nagisa Driveway. — a sandy beach in Ishikawa where you can actually drive car on the sand. It’s one of only three beaches in the world where driving on the sand is possible. If you’re lucky with the timing, you might catch a beautiful sunset over the Sea of Japan.
