Join us for a relaxing bicycle ride and see the Kampot countryside up close.

We take you into the authentic rural countryside, away from where tourists normally go, into the villages and farming communities around Kampot. With your guide explaining local life, local legends, and some history, you'll get to experience and understand genuine rural Cambodian life.

We'll stop for breaks at three different pagodas that reflect the different sides of Buddhism in Cambodia: From the main pagodas that administer the Kampot region, to small village monasteries where Buddhism and animistic practices still blend together. You'll learn about the local spirits, legends as well as the daily life of monks and how Buddhism is practiced in Cambodia today.

We'll visit a range of local farms that vary depending on the season. Rice production, palm sugar, sugar cane, durian, and more are all produced in the region, and we'll visit working farms: no visitor center, no gift shops, just genuine people and their stories.

The highlight of our tour is a lunch with Vin, the mother of a local family. She'll serve a communal style meal where you'll get to sample several different authentic Cambodian dishes, home-cooked by her at her traditional wooden home. No Amok or Lok Lak. Everything will based on the local ingredients, depending on the season, and authentic meals she would serve her family.

The bicycle tour is easy and relaxed with plenty of breaks while we explore the communities we visit.
