Embark on a 2-day wildlife safari to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Take a boat trip on the Kazinga Channel, go on a game drive, and see the salt mining at Lake Katwe.
Day 1:
Meet your guide at your hotel in Kampala and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On the way, stop at the equator for a photograph and craft shopping. Continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park, reaching in time for lunch at your lodge.
After lunch, go for a boat ride along the Kazinga Channel to the shores of Lake Edward. Hippos, buffaloes, elephants, waterbucks, and water birds are commonly sighted along the channel which joins the two lakes. Return to your lodge for a relaxed dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2:
Wake up with an early breakfast before you go for a game drive to search for the early risers. Drive through Kasenyi track where you will see the big cats active on their daily hunts. Spot animals such as lions, Uganda kobs, buffaloes, leopards, hyenas, elephants, birds, butterflies, and the savannah trees.
Have lunch at your hotel before returning to Kampala, arriving in the evening.
