This tour invites you to explore the story of the sea, sake, and the people who shaped this unique place.
Walk through the historic harbor town whose history dates back to ancient times, visit Sakakiyama Hachiman Shrine to offer a prayer to the deity of sake brewing, and explore a traditional brewery guided by Soichiro Tsuka, the 9th-generation master brewer.
At the brewery, which was rebuilt after the devastating floods of 2018, enjoy a sake and local food pairing experience and create your own original sake label.
The journey concludes at the peaceful Akitsu Harbor, where you can take in the gentle scenery of the Seto Inland Sea and reflect on the story of Akitsu.
