This tour offers you a chance to visit some outstanding sites in only a half day. Joining this tour, you will experience exploring these tourist destinations by trekking and cruising. You will hike through the scenic landscape of jungles and mountains, visit a traditional hill-tribe village and the impressive Tad Sae Waterfall.

At the departure time, you will be greeted and picked up at your hotel’s lobby by an English speaking guide and a driver. You will be driven in about 30 minutes to the Tiger Trail Adventure Camp located on the banks of the Nam Khan River.

Upon your arrival here, you will embark on a boat to cross the river to the starting point of the trekking journey.

You will start trekking in about 1.5 hours through beautiful jungle and mountains. Don’t forget to keep your camera handy to capture these scenic images of nature. On the way, you will pay a visit to a hill-tribe village inhabited by Khmu people. You will enter the village, explore it, and interact with local people there with the support of the guide. It will depend on the time and the group’s preference that you can either have lunch in the village or at the waterfall.

After exploring the village, you will continue trekking in about 1.5 hour to reach the Tad Sae Waterfall. This is a perfect place for you to relax after the long trekking journey. Coming here, you can dip your feet into the cool water or enjoy a refreshing swim. However, this activity will be seasonal as the waterfall is dry during the dry season from February to July. Instead, you can spend time exploring the surroundings of the waterfall.

At the end, you will embark on a boat again for a short cruise downriver, and drive back to Luang Prabang city. You will arrive at the city at about 2.00 pm depending on some conditions and the hiking speed. The tour ends when you arrive at your hotel.
