Bodegas Carchelo is a family-run winery located at the foot of the Sierra del Carche in Jumilla. Since 1990, we have been producing wines closely linked to this region, with Monastrell as the star grape variety and a firm commitment to organic farming and sustainability.
Accompanied by a member of the winery team, you'll tour the main work areas and learn how our wines are made in a fully operational facility. During the tour, you will discover the different stages of the process, from the arrival of the grapes to the aging, and you will learn how the characteristics of the Jumilla PDO, the climate, and the environment influence the personality of each wine. You'll also learn about our approach to working the vineyard and winery, striving for greater respect for the environment and a balanced relationship with the land.
The tour ends with a guided tasting of five Bodegas Carchelo wines, accompanied by an individual platter of cheeses and Iberian cold cuts. You'll learn how to identify their main characteristics and will be able to ask all your questions in a friendly and unhurried atmosphere.
