What you can expect

I have given workshops on Japanese calligraphy to many foreign people in many countries. I will carefully explain in English not only how to use tools and how to write, but also about history and culture of Japan.

In Japan basically we use three type of letters which is Chinese character, Hiragana and Katakana. Chinese character is ideogram.Every single character has meaning and story. Hiragana and Katakana is phonogram character that ancient Japanese had created based on Chinese characters. Why don't you feel a long histolical story of Japan through calligraphy.
