At the start of the day, our staff will welcome participants at the meeting point for check-in at the “Ex Capolinea 1/4 in Largo Eroi del Mare” in Bari. Here, participants will receive our information brochure, which is designed to guide each guest step by step, providing interesting facts, maps, and useful tips to help them make the most of their experience. The journey will take place on board a comfortable, air-conditioned GT (Grand Touring) bus equipped with every amenity, ensuring a cozy and relaxing environment throughout the excursion. During the tour, each participant will have access to 24-hour remote support, which is always available to address any needs or concerns.
Thanks to the illustrative materials provided, participants will be able to explore each stop on their own, but with an authentic, local perspective, as if guided by someone who has known these places their whole life. The first stop will be Polignano a Mare, the birthplace of Domenico Modugno and renowned for its crystal-clear sea and spectacular sea caves. As you stroll through the old town, you will be able to admire traces of the Arab, Byzantine, and Norman eras, along with breathtaking views of the cliffs that have earned the town the nickname “Pearl of the Adriatic.” Alternatively, you can skip this stop and join the group directly in Polignano a Mare at 11:30 AM, at the meeting point on Via Guglielmo Marconi 6.
Your second stop will be Ostuni, known as the “White City” because of its houses, which are entirely whitewashed. Visitors can wander through scenic alleys, visit the majestic Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta with its imposing rose window, and enjoy an exceptional view of the expanses of olive groves and the sea. There will also be opportunities for relaxation in the lively Piazza della Libertà, the beating heart of the city.
Finally, the itinerary includes a stop in Locorotondo, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, which has been awarded the Orange Flag by the Italian Touring Club. Its historic center is notable for its perfect architectural harmony, featuring the characteristic “cummerse” – whitewashed houses with sloping stone roofs – and narrow streets paved with traditional “chianche.” It is an enchanting place where time seems to have stood still.
At the end of the experience, you will return to Bari or Polignano a Mare, depending on your chosen starting point, enriched by a vibrant day filled with the beauty, traditions, and authentic charm of our beloved Puglia.
