Make your first stop at Bunárfoss waterfall, located near the campsite at the end of the fjord. Surrounded by steep mountains and fresh glacial water flowing down the valley, it is a peaceful place to stop for photos and enjoy the quiet nature of the Westfjords.

From the waterfall, continue riding into Engidalur valley, a beautiful green area just beyond the fjord. This part of the ride offers wide views of the mountains and gives you a chance to experience a side of Ísafjörður that many visitors never see.

After exploring Engidalur, ride back along the fjord toward town and stop at the viewpoint at the start of the historic Óshlíð road, where you will get one of the best panoramic views over Ísafjarðardjúp and the surrounding Westfjords.
