Itinerary:
Day 1:
⢠We begin this great adventure with a pick-up at your accommodation in the city of Iquitos to go to the port of Bellavista and we will board a boat to reach the jungle lodge.
⢠While we navigate we will stop at the point
⢠Exact location of the confluence between the Amazon Rivers and the Nanay River, while we observe the variety of animals that live in the area.
⢠Once we arrive at the hostel, we will settle in and have a short break for lunch afterwards.
⢠Afterwards we will go to one of the towns that are in the area and we will learn about their lifestyle, in addition to the use of medicinal plants.
Day 2:
⢠The first activity we will do this day will be to visit Neyser Island to see the incredible serpentarium that houses different species.
⢠We will also participate in the observation of other species such as anteaters and sloths, monkeys and turtles.
⢠If we are lucky we will be able to observe the grazed dolphins swimming through the Amazon River.
⢠Later in the afternoon we will visit a butterfly farm and witness the complete process of butterfly metamorphosis, a great experience.
Day 3:
⢠We will start this day very early in the morning and we will have a walk through the jungle and we will observe the impressive sunrises.
⢠We will return to the lodge for a brief rest and enjoy a delicious breakfast.
⢠Afterwards we will visit the native community of Yagua, learn about its culture and traditions, as well as observe its typical dances and crafts.
⢠In the afternoon we will visit another indigenous community and learn about their traditional medicine, their techniques of use and the type and variety of plants used.
Day 4:
⢠We begin the last day and we will navigate the Amazon River learning more about its great biodiversity.
⢠While we sail we will carry out the fishing activity for the piranhas that are in the river.
⢠Afterwards we will arrive at an area of therapeutic mud, a perfect place for renewing your skin.
⢠We will return to the hostel for lunch time and pack our things.
⢠We will conclude our Amazon tour with the return to the city of Iquitos.
